650 life

650 life is a blog about peninsula real estate written by a local realtor. I like it, and check once in a while to see what's going on. I've thought it was a bit optimistic at times, but it seems to be reasonably accurate with predictions. Let's look back at posts from June and July and see where those listings are now -

http://650life.wordpress.com/

1330 Hull, San Carlos. No longer listed, doesn't look like it sold. Bought in 2005, no mortgage info available.

331 Lexington Way, Burlingame. Sold just like 650 life said it would.

170 Warren Road, San Mateo. Sold in August for $944k. 150k less than 1.1 Million that 650 life said was a good buy.

508 ALameda de las Pulgas, Belmont. Sold for under asking, just like 650 life predicted. $890k in July.

920 Round Hill Road, Redwood City. No longer listed. Doesn't look like it sold.

31 Kenton Avenue, San Carlos. Sold for $675k which 650 life thought was cheap.

1653 Carleton Ct. Redwood City. Sold for $775k, which 650 life considers cheap.

758 Arnold Way, Menlo Park. Not listed, no sale history.

136 15th Avenue, San Mateo. Not listed, never sold.

108 Brook Street, San Carlos. Went for close to asking.

531 Hillside Road Redwood City. Price dropped 50k. 100k down from original list price, and on market for 177 days.

1244 Laurel Hill Drive, San Mateo. REO, over a million dollars. Doesn't look like it sold, but the listing is gone.

2000 Valparaiso Ave. Menlo Park. Sold for 100k less than asking.

516 Howard Avenue, Burlingame. SOld for 50k less than asking.

All in all, looks like 650 life is pretty much on the mark.
